Stop Using Time As An Excuse
One of the things that drives me crazy is when people say they don’t have enough time to do X, Y or Z. Has it ever occurred to you that we are all working on the same time scale of 24 hours? That means you have the same amount of time in a day as Warren Buffett, Bill Gates, Beyonce and Oprah. Yes…you have the same amount of time as multi-millionaires/billionaires.
Now that we’ve settled that little matter, one of the major challenges you must address is how you use your 24 hours each day. 24 hours when properly planned out and allocated allows you to get a number of things accomplished. I’ve learned through my various experiences that you have the ability to complete the things you really want to get done, but it’s a matter of prioritizing what’s important to you.
If you are currently in debt and don’t want to downsize your lifestyle, you’ll need to either get an additional job, start a business or make your time worth more. When I position these options to my clients I’m often met with “I don’t have the time for…” The reality is you don’t want to MAKE the time to help change your current situation.
If you have a demanding job and a family, you’ll have to identify an intentional way to spending time with your family so they don’t feel alienated.
Let me help you resolve this issue. We all have things to do. We all have people tugging at us. We all have careers or businesses to run. However, successful people don’t use time as an excuse. You have the ability and talent to be successful. STOP USING TIME AS AN EXCUSE!
